Asamblea General Constituyente del Año XIII
La conmemoración este año de los doscientos años del establecimiento de la Asamblea Constituyente del año XIII es muy oportuna, porque nos recuerda las luchas de nuestros revolucionarios de la primera independencia, a pesar de y contra los enemigos externos e internos; hace docencia sobre el coraje de tomar medidas de cambios cuando es necesario hacerlo, mostrando que no existen tótems sagrados que no puedan voltearse o eliminarse. Además, como también ocurre en el presente, nos enseña a ser optimistas en el proceso transitado, aunque las poderosas fuerzas que se oponen parecerían indicar lo contrario.
This year, commemorating the bicentennial of the establishment of the General Constituent Assembly of 1813 has been very timely, since it reminds us of the struggle of our revolutionaries for our first independence in spite of the internal and external enemies and against them . It teaches us about the courage to take measures for a change when needed, showing there are no sacred totems which cannot be changed or eliminated. Besides, as is the case nowadays, this teaches us to be optimistic in the process undergone, although the opposing powerful forces would seem to indicate otherwise.
