Pensamiento y obra de Arturo E. Sampay

Del pensamiento y obra de Sampay surge que el anhelo de Justicia es inherente a la índole humana, pese a la terca resistencia de los derechos adquiridos, y que en la infraestructura sociológica de la Constitución subyace la lucha por el predominio político y pugnan los ideales que surgen del pueblo por una Constitución mejor contra el empeño oligárquico en resistir su transformación. Estaba firmemente persuadido de que finalmente el proceso sociopolítico llevaría a que la Argentina consagre un avanzado texto constitucional.

El pensamiento de Sampay adquiere actualidad en nuestro tiempo contemporáneo y habrá de potenciar el accionar mayoritario de los sectores populares en su pugna por lograr transformar la Constitución real que aún predomina en el país. Ese marco posibilitará el necesario y elevado debate que permita efectivizar en esta segunda década del siglo XXI, con la más amplia participación popular, una futura Asamblea Constituyente que sancione una nueva Constitución escrita para hacer efectivo el anhelado objetivo de la Justicia Social, o sea el “buen vivir” de nuestro pueblo.

From the thinking and work of Sampay it stems that the desire for Justice is inherent to human nature, in spite of the stubborn resistance of the achieved rights, and that the sociological infrastructure of the Constitution is where the fight for political predominance lies and where the ideals stemming from the people for a better Constitution struggle against the oligarchic will to resist its transformation. He was firmly convinced that the socio-political process would finally lead Argentina to establish an advanced constitutional text.

Sampay's thinking acquires validity in our contemporary times and shall potentiate most actions of the popular sectors in their struggle to achieve a real transformation of the Constitution that still prevails in this country. This work frame will enable the necessary, in-depth debate that allows to create, in this second decade of the 21st century and with the broadest popular participation, a future Constituent Assembly to rule a new Constitution written in order to realise the long-awaited aim of Social Justice, that is, the "well-being" of our people.
